Woman sought for murder of a two-year-old girl in Vosman
Police ask that Nomhlophe Potwana contact them urgently on 082 372 2195 as she can provide useful information.
Police are searching for a 29-year-old woman who is allegedly responsible for the death of a two-year-old girl over the weekend.
This incident was discovered after police were summoned to a doctor’s surgery on Saturday, November 6 where a body of the girl was found.
“A short investigation led police to Extension 3 in Vosman, where they gathered information that made them suspect that the mother might be involved in the gruesome death of the girl,” said Capt Elizabeth Mkaudi, Vosman SAPS spokesperson.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the victim died of poisoning however, relevant confirmation of the actual cause of death is underway.
Police request Nomhlophe Potwana whom they believe can provide useful information in the investigation, to contact Detective Colonel One Thobejane at 082 372 2195.
