An accident waiting to happen at footbridge in Klarinet

Most children use the bridge to get to school, but the bridge is falling apart.

A footbridge in Klarinet being used by people crossing the stream between sections in the area poses a danger, more than it is helping them at this stage.

Most children use the bridge to get to school, but the bridge is falling apart.

The supporting rails on the sides are coming off and the parents are concerned.

“The bridge needs to be fixed before somebody falls over into the stream. I think even the people who build the bridge did not do a proper job because it’s not that old to be falling apart like that. Also since they see that it’s falling apart, why can’t it be fixed? Must an accident happen first?” asks a parent.

The bridge is used by residents moving from the old section of Klarinet to the new section of the area.

The residents said they are planning to raise the issue with their councillors in the hope that something will be done.
