Vehicles stolen in various house robberies

A Toyota bakkie and Land Cruiser were stolen during a house robbery

Two cases of house robberies were opened over the weekend and in both cases vehicles were taken from the owners.

The most recent cases took place on Saturday, October 2 at approximately 02:00 in Old Coronation.

The complainant alleged that he was sitting at his home and was busy with a conversation with a friend when they heard a big bang and the door was forced open.

Three unknown men entered the house; the suspects wanted the Toyota bakkie from the complainant.

The complainant handed over the keys to the suspects and they left the premises in the vehicle.

A similar case occurred on Friday, October 1 at approximately 00:40 in Old Coronation.

The complainant alleged that he was sleeping when he heard voices outside; then there was a knock on his door.

As the complainant stayed in the house and refused to open up the door, he heard three shots and then the suspects started knocking on the door again demanding for the keys for the Land Cruiser which was parked outside near the house.

That is when the complainant threw the keys at the suspects who also wanted the cell phones.

The suspects are unknown to the complainant.
