Police attended a scene of a crime after the community members from Thushanang in KwaGuqa informed them about a body of a man was found.

On September 1, the complainant showed SAPS members the scene where a body was lying, covered with a white cloth.

Emergency Services declared the male dead and after a preliminary investigation, it was found that the deceased had an open wound to his head.

The motive of the murder is still unknown currently.

Police urges the community to contact them if they should have any information that can lead to the suspect/s that committed the crime.

Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu is concerned about this incident since it is not the first time at Vosman where people are found dead on the streets.

“The community should not hide information that can assist police in the fight against crime,” said Brigadier Ndlovu.

Anyone with information is requested to contact Detective Colonel One Thobejane at 082 372 2195.
