SAPS calls on eyewitnesses of hit and run on N4-highway

Did you perhaps see the accident happen on the N4 on August 7?

Witbank Police Station is asking for assistance from the public or eyewitnesses in regards to a hit and run, where a male lost his life.

On August 7, police members on duty received a call about a mutilated body that was found next to the N4-highway, behind the Puma Stadium.

A vehicle drove past and saw the body lying lifeless, he stopped and immediately phoned the authorities.

On police arrival, they closed up the scene and phoned for assistance from the LCRC, where they declared the man dead.

The body of the man was in such a bad condition that the personnel from pathology could only say that the body was one of an unknown African male.

SAPS are calling upon the public to assist them with any information regarding this incident.
