Remember to fill up with water before Tuesday
Pumping from the main raw water supply lines from Witbank Dam will be affected.
Residents are once again reminded to make sure they have enough water before the municipality starts working on the water supply system.
There will be no water in eMalahleni from Tuesday to Thursday
The Emalahleni Local Municipality will be undertaking emergency critical works on the water supply system to accommodate connectivity of the new modular package plant and major water leaks.
Pumping from the main raw water supply lines from Witbank Dam will be affected.
“During this period, water will be supplied from the raw water storage quarry to maintain supply to the water treatment works,” said Mr Lebo Mofokeng municipal spokesperson.
The outage is planned for Tuesday, August 3 from 06:00 until 18:00 however the system will take time to recover and water is expected to normalise on August 5.
This will only affect eMalahleni and not Ga-Nala, Phola or Ogies.
