New mass vaccination strategy at Exxaro mine
Over 5 000 mine employees are expected to be vaccinated.
Exxaro Mine started an initiative to help their employees combat the spread of the corona virus.
A new Covid-19 mass vaccination strategy was launched at Exxaro Matla mine in Kriel on July 28.
The mine was also appreciated for initiative to work with government by prioritizing their employees.
Mpumalanga Premier, Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane, MEC of Health, Sasekani Manzini and Executive Mayor Cllr Linah Malatjie were there to monitor the roll out.
Over 5 000 mine employees are expected to be vaccinated. The Mpumalanga Premier, Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane invited the community members of eMalahleni, who are eligible to vaccinate, to register and get their jab.
She further urged that people should ignore the myths that are told on social media platforms as they are false and misleading.
