Don’t miss out on the Emalahleni through your lens competition

This exciting competition will give a unique look into the heart of Emalahleni.

Solidarity Helping Hands wants to see how you see the City of Coal through your lens.

They are hosting a photography competition which is open for everyone to enter.

  • The photograph should depict the theme ‘Emalahleni through my lens’.
  • The entry fee is R50 per photo.
  • There is no limit to the number of photos you can enter.

The categories are photographers up to the age of 13, photographers between 14 years and 18 years, senior category, and open category. 

The photographs must be of the highest resolution possible. It can be in landscape or portrait mode.

Adult content of any kind will not be entertained and would lead to immediate disqualification.

The photo must be original, no manipulation will be allowed.

A panel consisting of professional photographers will judge the photos.

The photos will be stored in a data bank and WITBANK NEWS may use them for publication purposes. By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to this, and no third-party claims for copyright violation may be submitted.

The photographers must provide captions for the photos as well as their contact numbers.

The competition will end on September 30 at 12:00.

Category winners will receive prizes and a calendar with the top 12 photos will be printed. The calendars will be sold as part of a fundraiser for Solidarity Helping Hands Witbank.
