Business as normal in eMalahleni, roads are open

Two more bakkies were set alight in Phola and a truck was set alight in Ogies near the N12 highway.

The N12 and N4 highway are currently open and everything in and around eMalahleni is normal.

On Monday evening, July 12 protestors did everything in their power to cause havoc on the highways.

Concrete blocks were placed on the N12 highway as an obstruction.

There were also reports of unrest in Ga-Nala (Kriel) where gunshots were heard and tyres were burnt.

All roads surrounding eMalahleni are clear, N4, N12, old Middelburg/Witbank Road as well as the Bethal Road.

Always be vigilant when travelling on the roads as things can change very quickly as there is still a lot of tension in the air.
