Another pipe break in Ward 20 leads to no water again

Consumers are furious about dry taps.

Residents in Ward 20 are fuming because they do not have water again.

This pattern has been repeating itself over and over again these past few weeks.

“Amidst the third wave of Covid-19 we cannot wash our hands as the President tells us to do over and over again. Washing is heaping up and toilets are not flushed. How do we practise safe measures if the municipality fails us every single day,” Ms Sarah Nhlope lashed out.

The municipality said the water supply to the following areas is affected due to a pipe break: Die Heuwel extensions, part of Highveld Park, Riverview, Blanchville, Jackaroo Park.
