Salvation Hope still going strong in eMalahleni

The newest group of men that started their journey to get clean at the Salvation Hope Program.

The program that changed a lot of lives and futures of young addicts is still going strong as another group of youngsters were welcomed.

On Tuesday, April 20 the South African Community Crime Watch (SACCW) and Lewende Woord Witbank, once again went the extra mile to donate and support the Salvation Hope Program.

They donated toiletries and food parcels towards the life-changing initiative that is led by Bishop Jeremiah Zulu.

WITBANK NEWS previously reported on the Salvation Hope program where the centre attended to men with various addictions and helped them through the SHP & ICDSA program which deals with the Empowerment and Social Growth of locals of eMalahleni.

The program is still going strong and each month new candidates complete the program and are reunited with their thankful families.

On April 10, Bishop Zulu and the team received the next group of 15 men with substance abuse problems and allowed them to complete the program.

Bishop Zulu expressed his thanks towards the donations, “We thank the continued support from the church and organizations, and please extend our thanks to the sponsors as this makes a difference in the lives of the people attending the program.”

This is such a worthy cause to support, as eMalahleni has a huge drug problem and here they have a local program available for the community.

“We all know an addict, whether it be direct family or a friend. This is a registered NPO- program so the local businesses can support it financially and receive a Section 18A form. Please support them so they can continue to change lives and make eMalahleni a drug free city,” Maureen Scheepers from SACCW added.

Anyone willing to assist or support the program can contact Bishop Jeremiah Zulu on 072 356 1634.
