Car goes over barriers

As the dark settles into the early evening and people take different directions home, a woman was injured in an accident on the N4.

Ms Malinga’s car that went over the barriers on the N4 after being hit by another vehicle on June 2.

Ms Busisiwe Malinga’s silver VW Polo Vivo went over the barriers of the highway when she was involved in a collision with another VW driver, Tumelo Motsei.

Motsei was driving towards Pretoria on June 2 at about 18:00 when the accident occurred and he allegedly collided with the rear of Malinga’s car.

Malinga was seriously injured and Langamed Emergency Services rushed her to hospital.

Motsei did not sustain any injuries and declined to comment on the accident.
