In the past week alone three people were arrested for murder, nine people were arrested for theft, 12 were held for assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm; five were taken in for different robberies.
Another five was taken for drinking in public, whilst only one was arrested for drunk driving, six broke into houses and stole goods, one caused malicious damage to property, another had an illegal weapon in their possession and one more was found with illegal substances.
Four were detained for being in contempt of court, one resisted being arrested after they could not provide legal documentation, one tried to rape and was caught before he could continue the act and one more person was held for trying to steal out of a stationary motor vehicle.
In total the number of arrests came to 53 detainees who filled the Vosman holding cells after they were found to be against the law in their actions.
