Still no news of kidnapped granny

The search for 65-year-old Thembi Catherine Mthombeni is still on.

It has been 20 days since a 65-year-old woman was allegedly kidnapped from her home in Lynnville and has not been seen since.

Thembi Catherine Mthombeni was allegedly forcefully taken from her home in Lynnville, eMalahleni by two men on May 6.

One male is known to the family, they were driving a white double-cab bakkie with no canopy and the registration is unknown. She has not been seen or heard from since.

The 65-years old has black and grey hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 1,8m tall and weighs 65 kilograms and has a slender build.

Clothing worn at the time of disappearance was a black and white dress with a blue jacket.

This is an ongoing investigation and police urges anyone with information regarding this case to contact the investigating officer Sgt Manzini on 071 203 0918 or 013 659 8400 or Maureen Scheepers from the South African Community Crime Watch Missing Persons Unit on 082 565 6770.
