After not finding any money, the suspects found a bucket which they filled with water and told the victim to put her head inside the bucket

People of eMalahleni have been in conflict with house robberies that are happening and being forced to ask the question, ‘how safe are we?’

On Wednesday night August 28 a mother and her two daughters were interrupted.

With a knock on the door they were surprised to find their security guard with three unknown men claiming they are police officers and they want to search the house as they received information that there are drugs to be found.

When they entered, they said that they are not looking for drugs but asked for money instead while pointing a firearm at the victim.

While the rooms were searched from top to bottom, the daughters and the security guard was locked in a room.

After not finding any money, the suspects found a bucket which they filled with water and told the victim to put her head inside the bucket.

While being held up the suspects forced the victim to talk, she was then suddenly allegedly beaten several times with the firearm at the back of the head.

The suspects took four phones and an undisclosed amount of money.
