Learning about community helpers is a popular theme in early childhood education, and fire prevention is a great time to teach children about eMalahleni’s firefighters.
On July 25 the children from Bubbly Hippo’s pre-school had an outing to the fire station and met a real life firefighter.
The children learned that the most important thing to know is that firefighters are workers and friends that help to keep people safe from the harm of fire.
“We at Bubbly Hippo’s are very proud of our children and strive to give them the best education and general knowledge as possible and that is why we take them on outings like this. We would love to thank them for their time and effort with the visit,” Magda Schoeman concluded.
