A giant caterpillar was the centre of attention at Laerskool Klipfontein.
On February 26, Laerskool Klipfontein and Solidariteit Helpende Hand joined forces and brought life to this gargantuan insect.
The caterpillar’s legs were made from tinned food, its body was made out of plastic bags filled with donated clothes and goodies, whilst its feet were made from donated shoes of all shapes and sizes.
The teachers, students and Solidariteit Helpende Hand representatives who attended this assembly did a fantastic job; with the end result being an absolutely massive charitable donation in the shape of everyone’s favourite creepy-crawly.
