The housemother that is kept anonymous to protect the house and Grace said the bundle of joy is doing very well.
“She is a beautiful little angel. We are taking her for another check-up in the week,” the house mother said.
Police spokesperson, Const Angel Makubu said an unknown woman came to the police station on January 10 and reported an abandoned baby in the grass near the R547.
Const Makubu said a case of child negligence was opened.
“What kind of a mother can throw her blood baby in the bushes? If the woman is not ready to have a child, then she must go for prevention or use condoms, Const Makubu said.
