Rizpah Ministries receives generous donation

The South African Colliery Administrative and Financial Managers’ Association (SACAFMA) was proud to announce that they handed over R25 000 to Rizpah Ministries

The South African Colliery Administrative and Financial Managers’ Association (SACAFMA) was proud to announce that they handed over R25 000 to Rizpah Ministries on Friday, January 11 who manages seven houses where children are welcomed that are in need of care and protection.

The association president Mr Andries Nienaber and vice-president Mr Henry Pearson would like to thank the SACAFMA members, the South African Colliery Managers’ Association (SACMA) and the South African Colliery Engineers Association (SACEA) for their donations made at the annual SACAFA presidential which was held in October 2018.

The houses Pottebakkershuis, Shamah, Agape, Ikaya Lezulu, Shalom and House of the Rison Son and Springvalley day care centre is managed by the Rizpah management committee in partnership with the CMR Witbank.

The committee exist of members of NG Kerk Klipfontein, other churches, the public and CMR Witbank.

These houses, where any child that is in need of care and protection are taken in, play a very important role in a society where care for so many children are so often needed and can accommodate up to 50 children.

Any help given helps to keep the organization begin functional and provide in assisting the needs of these children are highly appreciated.

At the Springvalley crèche, situated in Springvalley an informal settlement up to 30 children of working mothers can be cared for.

The mothers are mostly domestic workers and can only contribute a very small amount towards the care of their children.
