Upon arrival at the hospital he was shown the victim with bruises all over his body.

An inquest docket was registered.

Allegedly the victim was transferred to the hospital on the same date from Isiphosensimbi Health Care Centre and was declared dead on the same day.

Investigation conducted and the witness who survived stated that they were suspected of stealing by neighbours as the deceased once worked at the suspect’s house.

They took them to Vosman taxi rank where they assaulted them with sticks and sjamboks joined allegedly by taxi drivers.

Both cases are under investigation and no one has been arrested.

“Community members are sensitized not to take law into their own hands. If there’s someone in the community who committed crime, the community should always call the police not assaulting suspects, they will be arrested” said Vosman police station communication officer Constable Kgomotso Maluleke.
