Three armed robberies were reported to Witbank’s SAPS last week.
A revolver was the weapon of choice for all three robberies.
Two of the robberies were committed by three adult males, whilst the third was reportedly committed by two adult males.
On Tuesday, July 31, a man received notification that one of the company trucks had broken down next to the R555.

He was ambushed by three armed men whilst affecting repairs to the vehicle. The three armed men demanded to be given everything he and the driver had.
The suspects fled the scene having successfully stolen three cellphones and three litres of diesel from the break-down site. The damage done by these bandits equates to about R8 000.
On the same day, two armed men got into a man’s car as he was getting ready to leave from work. They took all of the loose belongings and cash which he had in his car, stealing a clean R3 000.
The crime spree continued in eMalahleni the next day when two armed robbers followed a man from an ATM in Highveld Mall to Mandela Road, where they pushed his car off of the road and robbed him of the R40 000 which he had withdrawn.
