Flames engulfed a bakkie within minutes
What seemed like a peaceful Sunday afternoon in eMalahleni turned out to become a busy one as a bakkie set alight.
What seemed like a peaceful Sunday afternoon in eMalahleni turned out to become a busy one as a bakkie set alight.
On Sunday, July 22 at approximately 15:15, a Corsa bakkie was travelling up OR Tambo Road.
When the vehicle got to the traffic light at the intersection of OR Tambo and Amsterdam Street, the driver of the vehicle came to a stop and then all of a sudden the vehicle set alight.

The driver of the vehicle managed to get out of the vehicle before it went up in flames.
Witbank Fire Department arrived on scene and started extinguishing the flames.
