Two hijackings in Vosman and Ackerville on same day

In the first incident on Saturday, April 28 at about 01:30, the car owner told the police that he had parked his car at Value Meat and as he and his friend left, they were approached by two men.

One of the suspects was armed and they demanded money and ordered them to get to the backseat of the vehicle. The suspects drove with them to the bushes where they robbed them of some items.

They also demanded their bank cards including their bank pin codes and they withdrew cash of the value of R3 200 and drove away with the vehicle.

The silver Ford Ranger van, two phones, cash R3 200 and the value of all the items taken is more than R400 000. The registration number of the car is: NIN 9182.

The other hijacking was happened on the same day at about 18:15 at Vosman.

The 25 year-old owner reported that his Toyota Corolla was hijacked at gunpoint by a supect. He reported that he was at his his girlfriend’s place waiting for her when the suspect came and pointed him with a firearm demanding his car.

He got out of the car and the suspect drove off with the vehicle. The registration number of the car is: BTB 940 MP and is valued at R60 000.
