Vosman police are investigating two cases of robbery.

In the first incident, a 43 year old victim reported that he was on duty on Wednesday, April 4 at about 20:30 at Sizwe Opencast Mining performing his duties when he heard the sound of a firearm being cocked.

When he looked back he saw one of the suspects pointing a firearm at him. The suspects ordered him to lie on the floor and then he tied him up with shoe laces. The suspects searched and took some items then fled the scene on foot.

Items taken were vehicle keys, four GPS, a Hisense cell phone and three radios’.

In the second case, a robbery with a firearm was also reported to the police. A 23 year old woman reported that she was coming from work when she was approached by three suspects.

The suspects approached her on Saturday, April at about 19:30 and they then pointed a firearm at her and demanded money. They took her Hisense cell phone, Nike bag with helmet, make-up case, sunglasses and R40 in cash.

The three suspects then fled the scene on foot.

Police are investigating both cases and no one has been arrested.
