Be warned, police are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to drugs.

They are working tirelessly around the clock to combat the city’s biggest problem. As a result, four suspects were locked behind bars for being in possession of drugs.

On Tuesday, December 5 as police were patrolling the Central Business District a 38-year-old man was found with six small transparent plastic bags containing dagga in his pocket. He was arrested in Roger Street at 14:15.

Police received two tip offs of people suspected to be dealing in drugs. The first arrest was made at Paxton Road. A woman was found with seven pinches wrapped in yellow plastic and 20 pokes of dagga wrapped in newspaper in her possession.

The second tip off was at Klarinet Industrial. Police got to the place and found a man standing next to the abattoir. When searched, he was found to have five yellow plastic bags containing a substance suspected to be drugs.

On a separate occasion, a 33-year-old man was arrested after he was found to have 10 small plastic bags containing a substance suspected to be drugs.
