Double murder at Vosman again

Vosman police reported that they were increasingly concerned about murders in their policing area.

Vosman police reported that they were increasingly concerned about murders in their policing area. In the past two weeks, five murders were reported in the area.

In the past week again two murders were reported to them. On Sunday, November 19 at about 03:30 they received a report about Ms Nonhlanhla Malaza, (35) of Marikana in Extension 16.

Her body was found with stab wounds on the ground at the crime scene. It is alleged that the victim was stabbed with a knife by her boyfriend.

Another murder was reported at the police station on Thursday, November 16 at about 20:00. An unknown male was found dead at the Thushanang Squatter Camp.

It is believed that there was shooting at the above mentioned address resulting in the death of the man. He was found laying on the ground next to house number 333 with a gun shot wound to his left chest and in a pool of blood. It is belived that the motive was domestic violence.

Police are investigating both murders and nobody has been arrested as yet.
