33 Graduates gathered at the Protea Hotel to receive awards for their hard work at Izithethe art institute.

This took place on Friday, September 15 and in total, 14 merits were awarded, seven distinctions and 12 students passed with normal marks.

Izithethe was established in 2006 as an institution for further education and training in performing arts.

They specialise in music, dance classes which they intend introducing more related programmes in the school.

Sandile Goodwill Bhuda. He is the Izithethe overall best student and received numerous merits at the graduation ceremony held at the Protea Hotel on Friday, September 15.

An average of 110 talented students enrolled in the school who receive tuition from well qualified and experienced educators who are professionals in the field.

Theory and practical lessons are offered on the following instruments: piano, drums, percussions, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, trumpet, trombone and other instruments.

Various dance classes are also introduced in the school.

They had a stylish event where all graduates attended and were awarded.
