Pensioner killed in hit and run

A person was hit by a vehicle of some sort by the robot on the Bethal Road last week leading to his death.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 10 at approximately 22:54, when police constables arrived on scene they noticed a person was lying in the road.

By this time an ambulance service was on scene and they declared the pedestrian dead.

Up to date the body has not yet been identified by any family members; according to the police report the person was an elderly man believed to be on pension.
