Boy drowns in pool at home
When the children’s nanny noticed that the boy was not around she frantically started searching and found him in the pool.
A family is mourning the death of an 8-year-old boy after he drowned in a swimming pool over the weekend.
According to Sgt Yster Shabangu from Kriel SAPS the boy and his 11-year-old sister was swimming on Saturday, December 10 and when she got out of the pool to get dressed he promised to follow her.
When the children’s nanny noticed that the boy was not around she frantically started searching and found him in the pool.
Paramedics declared the boy dead.
The parents were not at home when this tragedy happened.
The family was too distraught to speak to the media.
