The South African Police Service, Vosman Station has issued a directive concerning the selling of liquor.

The South African Police Service, Vosman Station has issued a directive concerning the selling of liquor.

They stated that the Mpumalanga Liquor Licensing Authority ACT 5 of 2006 states that, selling of liquor without a license is an offence in terms of the Section 59(1) (A). No person is allowed to sell liquor without a licence.

No person is allowed to drink liquor in public streets or places not authorised to do so in terms of Section 65 of Mpumalanga Liquor Act of 2006.

Drinking liquor outside the liquor premise amounts to drinking in public.

Sitting in the vehicle outside the liquor outlets and drinking liquor is drinking liquor in public.
