Two motorcyclists were involved in two different accidents this passed weekend in eMalahleni, both sustained minor injuries.

On Friday afternoon, February 5 at approximately 14:15 at the big intersection by Watermeyer and Stevenson Street traffic was brought to a standstill after a collision between a motorbike and a vehicle occurred.
Ms Zandile Mbele was driving a white Toyota Ayanza with three passengers inside it.

The motorbike and the vehicle that was involved in an accident at Highveld Mall on Sunday evening, February 7.

Mbele alleged that she was turning right into Stevenson Street then out of nowhere the person on the motorbike appeared and crashed into the side of the car.

“The biker hit the side of the company car,” said Mbele.

However, Mbele and the three passengers did not sustain any injuries.
The motorcyclist was slightly injured and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
On Sunday evening, February 7 at approximately 20:00 an accident happened in Mandela Street at Highveld Mall.
It’s alleged that a motorcyclist was traveling down Mandela Street and a young woman in a white car turned out from the mall when the collision happened.

Allegedly before the motorcyclist hit the car, he jumped off his bike.
However his bike crashed into the driver’s side of the door of the car.

The motorcyclist hurt his hand and later on he started complaining about his lower back.
The driver of the vehicle and her passenger did not sustain any injuries, they were just shocked.
Paramedics arrived on scene and they stabilized the motorcyclist and he was taken to hospital for x-rays.
