No school at HTS today because of a protest over learner placements

The Technical High School is closed today.

This emergency measure had to be taken after word came through that protests were planned in front of the school today.

A few parents blocked the entrance to the Technical High School and set a few obstacles alight in front of the main entrance gate.

Learners were notified via WhatsApp groups that the school would not be open today.

Concerned parents should note that there is a strong security presence at the school.
