The municipality is hosting a festive flea market and fun run this weekend

Interested persons can access the application forms at municipal offices.

Emalahleni Local Municipality will be hosting a festive flea market and fun run.

They would like to invite all informal traders, small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs), cooperatives in different sectors, and big businesses to participate in the flea market.

Entry for the fun run is R30 per person, and no cash payment is allowed.

The stalls will be sold at different prices for different vendors to accommodate small and big businesses as follows: Big businesses – R1 000, food outlets – R500, SMMEs – R200, cooperatives – R100, and informal traders – R50.

The stall fee listed above must be paid five days before flea market day on the ground floor main municipal building or payments can be made through an electronic fund transfer into the following bank:

Bank Name: ABSA, ACC:1360000091, reference 23105000204, and company name.

Proof of payment and completed forms must be forwarded to the above-mentioned emails or Development Planning third floor Economic Development and Tourism Unit.

The municipality will host the flea market as follows:

Residents and visitors to the municipality will access stalls for good food, souvenirs, art and craft work, etc. at a reasonable price.

The application forms for the stalls can be requested via email and will also be made available at municipal offices on Development Planning on the third floor, Economic Development and Tourism Unit (LED).

Motorists and the community of Emalahleni are invited to come and check the status of their traffic fines.

Payment of municipal service points will also be available.
