St Thomas Aquinas School matric’s taken to Candy Land

St Thomas matriculants rock and roll the blue carpet on their special night.

Matric farewell ‒ a moment that the matriculants from St Thomas Aquinas School have been waiting for all year.

Akhira Mungaroo (head girl) and Rowan Rajah looked beautiful at the matric farewell.

It was all glitz and glamour with girls showing off their beautiful dresses, and young men looking dashing in their suits, in cars that made a huge statement for the special entrance.

Khanyizile Zule and Amahle Hlwatika were ready to enjoy the farewell.

On Friday, September 23 that moment had finally arrived.

The matrics stepped out of their vehicles with much pride and joy.

The theme for this year’s matric farewell was Candy Land.

After going through two tough years due to Covid-19, it was about time they received something sweet and colourful.

Prosper Simfukwe (head boy) and Amu Maserumule have been waiting for this moment.

The matrics really enjoyed their farewell before focusing on their final examinations.
