Teddy tea opens arms and hearts for a good cause

As always Andries du Preez, organiser of the Teddy Tea Party overwhelmed everyone with love.

The annual Teddy Bear Tea Party can only be described as a huge success.

This annual fundraiser organised by Mr Magnificent Men Icons International (MMI) titleholder Andries du Preez, is a have-to-go-to event on the calendar.

This year’s theme was ‘My heritage, my country’ and it was hosted at Pienaardam Ontspanningsoord on September 23.

It is not a secret that Andries is an ambassador that lifts his voice in awareness about cancer. That is why one of this year’s beneficiaries was Bettie Bandana, a non-profit organisation that helps women who suffer from breast cancer.

Much-needed funds were also collected for Solidarity Helping Hands.

“Once again it was such an honour and privilege to host this loved event that supports various charities,” Andries said.

This year’s guest star was singer and songwriter Rudi Claase, who had the guests dancing and singing along as he sang one hit after the other.
