Taxi transporting school children in an accident on N4 near the Ferrobank off-ramp

14 children were transported to hospitals, three of which were seriously injured.

Fourteen learners were involved in an accident this morning when the taxi they were travelling in was involved in an accident.

Bophelo Emergency Medical Services transported 11 children, one of which was seriously injured, to the hospital on Tuesday, August 23.

Langamed Emergency Management was also dispatched to the scene and transported two children who suffered serious injuries to the hospital.

It is believed that one of the children suffered a head injury and the other leg fractures.

Legacy Emergency Medical Services was also on the scene and transported one of the children to the hospital.

Fortunately, the patient did not suffer any serious injuries.

The cause of the accident has not been determined as yet.
