A boxing tournament was organised for different clubs to honour women.
Mthokozisi Moapa of ABC Club fighting Philasande Nkosi of Home Style Club; Philasande won the fight on points.First bout of the tournament between Kudzayi Damba (12) of Men Club and Phumlani Msibi (12) from Home Style Boxing Club.
The tournament was organised by Pastor Ray Mabena to honour women during women’s month and was held at the Lynville Stadium on Tuesday, August 9.

In total 23 bouts were held including a female bout.

The fans were entertained from the first bout of young boxers, some as young as 12- years old, up to the seniors.
All female bout between Nothando Mringo of ABC Club fighting Bontle Thabethe of Home Style Club; Nothando won the fight after it was stopped in round one.
