A 75-year-old man from Ackerville is still missing

Have you ever seen this man?

The Fransman family in Ackerville is desperate for help in locating a family member who allegedly went missing five years ago.

Since Mr William Fransman, also known as ‘Dolphie’ went missing in April 2017, no one in the family has seen or heard anything from him except speculation that he may have been seen somewhere around the city.

Mr Fransman used to live next to Khonzimfundo Combined School in Ackerville. His disappearance has left his family befuddled because they don’t know where to look for him. Mr Fransman’s son, Sanele, said they don’t know why he left, but he used to go for weeks and return, so they are surprised this time around.

It is believed that Mr Fransman has been seen twice last year in this area of eMalahleni. According to Sanele, people used to say they always see his father at Spar in Tasbet with an old unknown man driving a bakkie. He was also last seen in Spring Valley, and he added that wherever he is said to be seen, they always go and check, but they never find him.

“We need him because he has been gone for a long time,” Sanele concluded.

A missing person’s case has been opened, and anyone with information that can lead to Mr Fransman’s location should contact Tete Masuku at 076 613 3064 or Sanele Fransman at 063 150 6414.
