Rape victims were stopped on their way home

Colleagues become victims of rape while walking home.

The streets of the city are becoming smaller by the day, as criminals prey on their next victims.

Women and children have become the most vulnerable.

On Monday, July 4, two women allegedly became victims to unknown men.

It is alleged that the women who are colleagues were walking home when they were approached by three men in a car. One of them apparently pointed a firearm at the women.

The suspect that was holding the firearm allegedly commanded the women to not move or scream. The two other men then got out of the car, then apparently grabbed the two victims and started sexually assaulting them.

No arrests have been made regarding the case, yet thorough investigations are being done by the officials at Witbank Police Station.
