Delivery man robbed of parcels and cell phone

Approached by unknown man armed with a firearm

When climbing out of your delivery van, the last thing on your mind is… who is going to rob me?

On Tuesday, April 26 Mr BJ Mokwena who works for a delivery company was out making deliveries as normal.

Mokwena got to a certain security complex and parked his vehicle outside, where he made the phone call to the client that he was outside the complex with the parcel.

After the phone call Mokwena climbed out of his vehicle and noticed that there was a white Chevrolet Spark also standing outside in the parking lot.

Mokwena then allegedly opened up the back of his van and was approached by an unknown person who was armed with a firearm.

The suspect took Mokwena’s cell phone and his parcel that was from a cell phone company.
