Newborn baby found dead at dumping site in Lynnville

Residents of Lynnville were left traumatised after a newborn baby was found in a plastic bag at a dumping site on Hectorway road in Lynnville. 

The newborn baby was allegedly found by a resident who was looking for recycling bottles on Tuesday, April 5. 

According to the residents who were at the scene, a man ran to a nearby tavern where he reported what he had seen.

Some of the men that were at the tavern at that moment went to the scene, and called the police from there. 

The police, paramedics and later forensic pathology services reacted. 

Police are investigating the matter.
