Join the sea rescue Witbank family

If you want to make a difference, this opportunity is for you.

Sea Rescue Station 35 Witbank is taking in volunteers.

No prior experience is needed.

They offer personal development, physical and theoretical training, a wide variety of aspects such as boating maritime knowledge, maritime emergency care, radio operations training, education and drowning prevention, and leadership development amongst others.

The deadline for applications is February 28.

Sea Rescue is a charity that saves lives on South African waters.

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is run by over 900 highly skilled, unpaid volunteers who are on standby day and night throughout the year.

They have 31 bases around the coast; four are on inland dams.
