She has done a lot to take the young people of Vosman out of the streets to make them do something positive – It was not easy as most times she had to bear the expenses from her own pocket.

After all Frieda ‘Mzansi’ Manana’s efforts her work is now being recognised by the nominations and the awards she has received recently.

Frieda is the founder and owner of the Phanda Mzansi Modelling Agency in Vosman.

Apart from the beauty pageants, fashion shows and street parades Frieda has organised in the past, she also uses important events like Heritage Day, Youth Day and Mandela Day to do photoshoots.

Frieda also recently produced a local drama for television.

“I get motivated and inspired to do more for the young people under my care. To some of them, I’m like their parent. They share and they are open to me. The nomination came as a boost to me to do more. I feel happy at the same time because people are now realising and recognising my efforts. It shows that I’m doing something right for the children. I’m trying my best to change the lives of young people as they are the future of the country,” Frieda added.
