Mpumalanga Mambas hockey capping ceremony

The Mpumalanga Mambas allows the youth players of the province to play and excel in indoor hockey.

Indoor hockey is alive and well in Mpumalanga.

This has been proven many times by players as young as 12 years old.

A hockey capping ceremony was held for the players on Saturday, November 6.

The Mpumalanga Mambas, which was established in 2013, allows the youth players of the province to play, and develop and excel in indoor hockey.

Since 2013, the franchise has grown and has the recipe for success.

Boys and girls teams are selected for u.13, 14, 16 and 18, who participate in an annual national tournament (PSI Nationals).

This year the tournament will take place in Gauteng during the December holidays.

The Mambas will be aiming to add plenty of silverware to their cabinets.

Parents and children who are players spent the glamorous evening celebrating and acknowledging those who have worked hard running up to the final announcement of the teams for the 2021 tour.
