Roxy golfing with glitz and glam for the cause of GBV

She called her campaign “#Enough Campaign” which started in 2019 against GBV

The beautiful and dynamic Roxy van Bruwaene is not only a beautiful face, but a mother of three and happily married to her soul mate, Jacques van Bruwaene.

Van Bruwaene was crowned as Mrs Mpumalanga in 2020, not just for a sash and crown, but to make a difference while wearing her title.

She is a Gender-Based Violence activist, “I believe if you have a heartbeat, you have a purpose, change starts with every one of us,” she said.

Her campaign is called “#Enough Campaign” which started in 2019 against GBV.

Overall winners GV online Team Nelson Lopez, Craig Robberts, Martin Brown, Ruan Visser (SA heavyweight boxer).

“The main aim for me is to create awareness by having events, such as the golf day this past weekend,” she added.

On Friday, October 22 at Bankenveld Golf Estate it was time to take a club and go golfing for a good cause.

“The golf day was such a success and I would like to thank everybody that contributed to this day that was filled with fun and laughter,” she gratefully said.

She will be having a supercar breakfast run soon and all the proceeds will go to filling the gap; such as sanitary towels, food, stationery, stoves, sports equipment and so forth.

This will be donated to an underprivileged school, Mokibe Primary.

“As Mrs South Africa Top 25 finalist, part of our requirements is to raise funds for either of the charities, Women4Women to empower the young girls to create a better future,” said the beauty queen.

The finals for Mrs South Africa crowing will be held at Emperors Palace on November 26.
