Adopting an animal from the SPCA is as easy as ABC.
Come in and view the animals.
Choose the animal you are interested in.
Complete an application to adopt.
A home check will be done.
An inspector will be sent to your property to conduct an inspection and offer advice on adopting a pet.
The inspector will take note of the following:
- Condition of other pets
- Whether adequate shelter is provided
- Where the animal will sleep at night
- Size of property and height of walls
- Ensure that the property is fully enclosed
If approved, you finalise the documentation and pay the adoption fee.
