Founder of Beautiful Scars Foundation remembered

Beautiful Scars wants to provide help by making sure that patients with kidney problems can go through dialysis programs

A special candlelight ceremony was held in honour and remembrance of the founder of Beautiful Scars Foundation.

Ms Sinenhlanhla Ndimande was known as the lady with a big heart who always put other people first.

“We will always honour and remember her each year,” was the message by those who attended the ceremony on September 25.

The foundation was established on June 19, 2019 when she realised the gift of life that was with her since 1988 and it was named after all the scars that she acquired and experienced during her years of being a renal failure patient from birth.

“Since God has been faithful to her, she decided to create a place of hope called Beautiful Scars,” reads a statement from the foundation.

She was in partnership with Mr Kenneth Nkabinde; both had kidney failures in their lives.

“The vision of the foundation is to see the organisation grow worldwide for people to be served with knowledge about the disease and to ensure that the community acknowledges and knows what they can face at a daily basis without having them panic and doubt their capabilities if they come across with such. We at Beautiful Scars want to provide as much help by making sure that patients with kidney problems can go through dialysis programs. We want to strive to be the best and fly our flag with wings,” reads the statement.
