As Blood Donation Week was coming to an end, many people wanted to continue with this great initiative that is led by the South African National Blood Services (SANBS).

SANBS calls for type O donations

The national drive had mobile sites where people can donate their blood. Amongst many were two employees from The Ridge, who were also first-time donors.

About the SANBS

The young individuals were excited as they also got to know interesting facts about themselves, such as their blood groups and iron levels.
