Ethembeni Salvation of Hope rehabilitants embraces June 16

The rehabilitants have enjoyed themselves by participating in different activities like drama and dancing.

They started the celebration of the Youth Day by prayer and took a moment of silence to respect those who died.

Rehabilitants of Ethembeni Salvation of Hope under the leadership of pastor Jeremiah Zulu were embracing Youth Day on Wednesday, June 16.

These rehabilitants said even though they have made mistakes in life, they still see the vital need of commemorating the youth that has died in 1976 fighting for them to be free and demolished the spirit of oppression.

Salvation Hope still going strong in eMalahleni

In the proceedings of the event pastor Zulu told these young stars that they have now embarked on a new journey, therefore they need to be extra cautious on what they do in life and avoid all the temptations that could take them back where they came from. There is no good in doing drugs and they must always strive to do better in their communities to show that they have changed.

Salvation Hope welcomes a new group

Pastor Zulu further urged the people to accept these young stars because there is no better way of encouraging them to stay clean and sober than to accept them. Therefore pastor Zulu has recommended acceptance as a strong tool for rehabilitating people who are under the influence of a substance.

The rehabilitants have enjoyed themselves by participating in different activities like drama and dancing.

They pledged to the public that they will do their best in becoming better people who can be trusted again in the public, because they have realized that drugs are bringing them no good, but destroying them as future leaders.

Saluting another group of sober soldiers

Two rehabilitants Sakhile Skhosana and Zothile Mahlalela have shared words of encouragement with their fellow mates telling them the reason why they’re at Ethembeni and they must keep praying because prayer will set them free and they should bear in mind that better days are coming because the future is still bright for them and it is not over until God says so.

The event went well and everyone was magnificently embracing the significant day on June 16.
