A mile in front for Witbank Victim Support Centre

Several brave people put their walking shoes on and brazed the cold to walk 1.6km for a good cause.

Ladies Circle (in formation), alongside Highveld Mall, hosted a mile walk on Saturday, June 5 in aid of Witbank Victim Support Centre.

“I would like to thank everyone who came out to support, it is much appreciated. Thank you also to all the sponsors for their valuable donations and support. Special thanks to Talisman Witbank for the start banner,” said Ms Kylie Tippet, interim vice chairlady of Ladies Circle (in formation).

All finishers received a medal as well as a complimentary coffee, juice or milkshake from Spur.

Ms Antoinette Deiner from Witbank Victim Support thanked Witbank Ladies Circle (in formation) and said they are extremely thankful for every bit of help they get to be able to support victims of abuse on all levels.
